I typed this on some “carbonless” carbon duplicate paper. Alas, it appears that the magic used to create such a thing did not last from the 1970s into the 21st century.
It’s interesting how much the bottom of the page affects how a person writes. I came to notice this when using my endless roll of paper, where you just keep typing and typing and slinging the carriage back, while the roll of paper collects itself on the floor behind your machine. For my blog, I often try to fit my thoughts onto one page, then add extra words in ASCII, if needed.
As for the margin issue, one of my machines does that. I think it has something to do with the margin setting mechanism’s detents aren’t aligned with the escapement. Try minor adjustments to where you set the margin buttons.
Good luck with NaNoWriMo. I intend on just blogging in stead.
Yeah, I’ve been contemplating the endless roll idea for some writing. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl in november. Thanks for reading, and for the luck! ~TH~
